18 Months

We celebrated Brooke being 1.5 years old on August 19th, 2010! Can you believe it??? To celebrate we took a girls trip to Deanna Rose and then to eat lunch at Chipotle with some friends! It was a fun day!

New words at 18 Months:
*Beep Beep! (sounds the same)
*Boom! (sounds the same)
*Apple (Aw-pull)
She is also getting to the point where she will try to repeat anything that you ask her to say. So I'm not sure that I will be able to keep track of her vocabulary very much longer!

CUTE things Brooke does:
*Says "Bye Bye" to the water when we drain the bathtub or flush the toilet.
*When we ask her to say "banana" no sound comes out but she sticks her tongue in and out of her mouth!
*When we go to the Y she carries the cards in and gives them to the employee who scans them. I think she makes them smile every day!
*Uses the baby monitor as a phone. I will find her around the house with it to her ear saying, "Hi! Bye bye!"
*When I am wrapping up a phone call Brooke will say, "Bye" cause she knows I'm about to say it.

Animal Sounds:
*What does a cow say? Moooooo...
*What does a dinosaur say? Rawr, Rawr...with the cutest facial expression!
*What does a horse say? She will vibrate her lips together. So cute!

Interesting Brooke Facts:
*She loves to run. Running down the hall at our house is the best!
*She likes to have all doors and drawers closed in a timely manner...even if you aren't ready yet!
*She can point out: toes, feet, hair, mouth, nose, and eyes.

Brooke's Favorites:
*Book: Chica Chica Boom Boom
*New Food: Yogurt
*Fruit: Banana
*Breakfast: Dry cereal...Cheerios at the moment.
*Toy: Books
*Treat: M&M's! Watch out...she's addicted!
