19 Months

Check out how much our little girl has changed! These pictures were taken just a few days after she turned 19 months old! WOW! What a big girl we have on our hands!

New Words at 19 Months:
*Fishie (Bishie)
*Beads (Beadths)
*Dots
*Socks (Shucks)
*Bear (Brr)
*Milk (Mok)
*Heart (Ha-t)
*Book (Bouts)
*Up
*Help (Hup)
*Off
*Boo
There seem to be more and more words every day that Brooke repeats and learns. She is so smart and I just can't seem to keep track of all of her vocabulary!

Animal Sounds:
*Monkey (Ooo, Ooo)
*Sheep (Ba, ba, ba)
*Cow (Moo, moo, moo, moo...you like to repeat it.)
*Every bird you see now quacks like a duck.
*Snake (Ssssss....)

Brooke's Favorites:
*Toy: Still Books
*Activity: Coloring
*Food: Breakfast Cereal...any kind!
*Veggie: Corn
*Yogurt Flavor: Very Cherry by Yoplait
*Book: Her Bible story book.
*Fruit: Strawberries

Cute Things Brooke Does:
*In the car you will cover your head with your blanket it, lift it, and say, "Boo".
*Sometimes Brooke will want you to read with her, not to her, WITH her. She will bring you a book and one for herself and sit next to you. If you aren't reading (or pretending), she will get on to you. And every few seconds she will switch books with you.
*Sometimes Brooke will pull her highchair tray out, flip it over and sit on top of it to read her books...don't know where she got this one.
*When we put the dogs in the kennel she will beg to give them a treat and then after feeding both Gus and Chloe she will wave at them and say, "Bu-Bye".

Interesting Brooke Facts:
*In the morning before even eating breakfast she wants to color!
*After breakfast and also after nap time she will sit in her room and read books to herself for a good 20-30 minutes. She mostly just looks at the pictures and points out animals that she knows.
*Since vacation we have delegating binky and TMose (the bear) to only nap and bedtimes. She knows this now so when she wakes up she hands over her binky and leaves TMose in bed. Such a good girl!
*Brooke attended her first library storytime this month! She did great but didn't listen to the stories too well.

Note from Momma:
It is becoming increasingly harder to not laugh at things we don't want Brooke to continue doing. I find myself almost cracking up at every family dinner...bad Momma! But who can resist a fake burp followed by a sneaky little grin in your direction. Seriously...kids know how to work it!

We love having you as a daugther Brooke! We can't wait to see what the next month brings!
