20 Months Old!

WOW! Only 4 months until our little girl turns 2! Can you believe it???

New Words @ 20 Months:

*Leg (Yeg)

*Mouse (Mou)

*Dog (Dow)...yes she now says dog again instead of just barking silently!

*Snack (nak)

*Nose

*Treat (eat)

*Pasta (basta)

*Pumpkin (Uhn-in)

*Bow

*Chloe (Why-e)

*Fork (Forrr)

*Spoon (spun)

There are probably many, many more that I can't think of right now. (Idea for a blog post...make notes of all the words she says for a whole day and record!)

Brooke's Favorites:

*Toy: A Puzzle she got from Grandma and Grandpa Rogers on Halloween.

*Activity: Reading! Abby Cadabby books are her favorite!

*Food: Peanut butter/Chocolate Chip granola bars

*Halloween Candy: M&M's!

*Non-toy to play with: Mom and Dad's shoes!

*Cartoon Characters: Abby Cadabby and Elmo from Sesame Street. We don't even watch the show...it's just from reading books!

Cute Things Brooke Does:
*When giving a hug she will turn her back towards you and back into your arms.

*Whenever she sees a pumpkin she says, "Uch it (Touch it)". This started at the pumpkin patch when I was trying to get her to touch them for a picture!

*While doing her new puzzle she will try to fit pieces in and when they don't fit she will say, "No" and try another spot!

Interesting Brooke Facts:
*Some of her 18-24 month pants are too short. But her 24 months/2T's are way too big in the waist!

*When something or someone has wronged her and makes her cry, she says, "Mommy. Mommy. Mommy." Even if I'm the one that made her cry. Silly girl!

*She is getting really good at eating with her spoon and fork.

*She can identify the letters: A, B, C, and O really well.
